Welcome to my little culinary corner of Cyberspace!
I feel truly sorry
for people who eat simply because they have to. The only thing on the Planet
that I won't eat is hot cereal, any kind of hot cereal! Everything else is fair
game.

I love food;
eating it, cooking it and playing with it. On this site you will get a glimpse
of the culinary world according to me. I seem to be bread obsessed. I
play with wild yeast and sourdough. I am fascinated with all kinds of breads.

| What you will find here is what
ever is, or was, occupying my cluttered mind at any point in time. This
includes, but may not be limited to baking, cooking, reading, travels and my
kitchen links. |
What you won't find on my site
are lots of recipes. 90% of what you see here is bread. 90% of the bread comes
from other peoples recipes. The luminaries of the bread world, like Peter
Reinhart, Maggie Glezer and Amy Scherber, have been more than generous with me.
Their willingness to share their knowledge and time has been invaluable as I
learn to bake bread. I would not feel right sharing their published work here.
The other reason is that I hate to type!
| A note about viewing my site. As I am better with bread
than I am with browsers, the site is best viewed at resolutions of 1024 x
768 or higher. It also seems to work better on Internet Explorer than it
does on Netscape Navigator. I'm working on 800 x 600 and Netscape
compatibility. If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears. |
