As the Stollen proved, I'm half Dutch. My other half is Irish, Boston Irish to be precise. I still haven't figured out Irish Soda Bread, so...

... I bring you Boston Brown Bread. This is a quick bread, leavened with baking powder and soda. As you can see, it's baked in cans! The dough starts about 2/3 of the way up the can.

The dough is really thick. Molasses, raisins, dried Cranberries. Very tasty stuff!
