Lithuania Gets Levain-ed!
Paths get crossed and we get a sourdough
version of the Lithuanian Pan Challah.
I need to pay more attention. This bread is reall good, but not what Ms.Glezer intented. At this point I was still doing as I was told. The dough ferments for 2 hours and barely budges. Here's where I begin to stray. The recipe says nothing about pans. But after 5 hours I wasn't going back! This is the result of 50 minutes in the oven @350º. It was supposed to be 35-40 Mins. @425. I will follow directions next time, but this mistake was awesome!
